Why do Mediocre Women Delude Themselves about Their Sexual Desirability

As some of you might remember, more than a few posts on my previous blog tackled the topic of why average women in developed countries, especially the anglosphere, are not suitable for anything beyond short-term sexual relationships. Furthermore, I am quite open about my strong preference for escorts over “normal women”. With that in mind, let us talk about one of the supposedly mystifying behavioral patterns displayed by vast majority of women in these countries. One manifestation of this pattern takes the form of mediocre and aging women acting and behaving as if they are beautiful women in the prime of their youth.

Over the years, I have come across many different explanations for this phenomenon. According to some, it is due to a distorted perception of reality caused by widespread use of psychiatrics drugs, specifically antidepressants, by women in these countries. While it is true that antidepressant drugs do distort the perception of reality, it should be note that the mindset in question became widespread at least a decade or two prior to the widespread use of antidepressant drugs in western countries (1990s-onwards). Therefore the consumption of these drugs by women is, at best, a downstream effect of this mindset and worldview rather than its cause.

Another popular explanation, that is partially true, lays the blame on feminism. While there is no denying that later iterations of feminism have contributed to the distorted view of reality demonstrated by the majority of women in those countries- it cannot explain the full scope of their delusions about their sexual desirability. Confused? Let me explain. See.. while belief in feminism can explain delusions such as “I am a strong independent wahmen”, “I am as physically strong as a man”, “anybody who disagrees with me is a misogynist” etc- it is insufficient at explaining how a mediocre-looking women can constantly and consistently delude herself into believing that she deserves one or many rich and handsome men of her choice.

This becomes especially obvious if you look at the rather sparse sexual lives of women who demonstrate the most overt versions of this delusion. As some of you might have observed, the most sexually active women in western countries are between their late-teens to late-twenties and in some sort of long-term relationship. In other words, all those women who are patiently waiting for the tall, rich and handsome guy with a big dick rarely get anything beyond a series of sporadic short-term relationships. And it gets worse for those past their mid-30s, who end up in largely sexless relationships with some forgettable guy or a series of vibrators and cats thrown in with occasional short-term relationships. The point I am trying to make is that keeping faith in their professed delusion has no positive effect on the quality of their sexual lives.

So.. why do they keep believing in a fake alternate reality where they are objects of great sexual value, but somehow just haven’t found the “right” guy. At this point, some of you might bring up the idea that women are only attracted to top 10-20% of guys. Fair enough, but why did this not hinder the ability of women in previous ages to find boyfriends or husbands? As late as the 1980s, it was common for even geeky guys in western countries to have girlfriends and wives. So what changed between the late 1980s and now? And why does that trend keep getting worse? To understand what I am going to talk about next, you have to understand that this trend did not occur in isolation. In fact, it is just one of the many similar social trends, such as helicopter parenting and “safetyism”, which began in the late 1980s.

The very short version is that majority of people in western countries, but especially women, have internalized the logic of neoliberalism. The longer version is as follows: in previous eras, both sexes used a binary system for deciding whether they wanted the other person- “fuckable or unfuckable”, “enough money or not” etc. Internalizing the logic of neoliberalism changed this such that everybody started believing that they were products and brands whose proper promotion and management would lead them to attain great glory, untold riches and their choice of sexual partners. For a bunch of reasons, some of which have to with racism, almost all the white women in western countries started believing that they were all “10s” (irrespective of their actual looks and age) who could find their tall, athletic, millionaire boyfriends or husbands if they just managed and promoted their brand “properly”.

But why would otherwise non-retarded individuals believe in, internalize and keep following any ideology that has not lived up to its promise? Well.. for the same reason they would believe in a religion which promises eternal life after death or keep voting for a political party which never fulfills any of its major promises. Alternatively, just have a look at the fashion and dressing styles throughout the ages- ever wonder why otherwise normal people dressed like they did in the 1970s, 1980s etc? Most people will follow comforting but unprofitable and dangerous ideologies, from conventional religions and cults to living and working in Silly Valley, because of their desire to conform and “fit in”. This is also why women (and effeminate men) are more likely to believe and practice said ideologies them than men.

In summary, the delusions of mediocre women about their sexual desirability comes down to the intersection of two factors. Firstly- they have internalized an ideology, namely neoliberalism, which makes them view all relationships through the peculiar calculus of that ideology. Neoliberalism (as sold to the masses) exalts mindless and constant competition while faking “niceness”. It also promotes the noxious idea that maximal extraction of profit is possible by faking it till you make it. This is also the reason why helicopter parenting picked up in the 1990s and had gotten worse with each passing year since then. It is also the reason why all those “credentialed” people and “experts” who have become elites during the past 2-3 decades turned out to be totally incompetent or worse when faced with real world problems.
