Discussion: Generational Increases in Social Atomization in Western Countries
In a few previous posts (link 1, link 2 and link 3), I have written about topics that are linked to an important major trend in western and most other developed countries- namely, increased social atomization. Currently I am writing another article which address this issue more directly. Therefore it would be interesting to find out what readers of this substack think about this issue.

This is a loaded question. Firstly you need to define friends.
My observation would be it is easier to build a superficial network via social media and bar hopping but more difficult to build long lasting friendships.
