During the past few months, I wrote a few posts about the ongoing war in Ukraine. While I could have written many more, there are more things which interest me than that conflict and its multiple fallouts. However, to summarize my previous posts on this topic very briefly- it has always been my opinion that Russia would win the war and annex Russian-majority areas east of Dnieper river in addition to entire coastline leaving behind a poor and chaotic Ukrainian rump state in western part of present-day Ukraine. I also predicted that Russia would not be affected much, if at all, by all those western sanctions which would merely speed up the process of its integration into the Asian economic sphere. As you might have heard, it seems that the all those sanctions are hurting west European economies, such as Germany, much harder than Russia.
